Sarah Lisney

Sarah Lisney, also known as Black Rose, is a creative artist who develops her artistry through spoken word and movement (Mainly specialising in hip hop and Afro dance). Within her spoken word journey, Sarah was a part of an award winning short film, ‘Awoken Soma’ (by Nadia Gardner - Charles), where her poetry efforts towards the project resulted in winning ‘Best Poetry Film’. She recent endeavours have taken her to numerous places including performing on the stage for TED Talks London.

Being the Founder of Poetic Conscience, Sarah creates social environments to help tackle the mental well-being through poetry.
